Proudly Australian made, this Kelly & Windsor Blend Bamboo Alpaca 300 GSM Quilt is made from bamboo fibre and alpaca fleece, both sustainably sourced and natural materials.
This quilt has is filled with 50% alpaca and 50% bamboo fibre and topped off with a soft and light cover of 60% bamboo and 40% alpaca, perfect for Autumn and Spring.
Hypoallergenic
Traditionally used in Peru, alpaca fleece is now world famous for its outstanding qualities. It’s hypoallergenic and beautifully soft, with a semi-hollow structure making it uniquely lightweight. Its excellent thermal regulation and moisture absorbent qualities also help you stay comfortably warm in Autumn and Spring.
Bamboo fibre is also quickly gaining popularity for its unique benefits. Made from the pulp of the bamboo grass, bamboo fibre is made by processing the pulp until it separates into thin threads, which is then spun for weaving into fabric.
Antibacterial
Like alpaca fleece, it’s hypoallergenic and eco-friendly. It’s also extremely breathable, with excellent moisture absorbency and antibacterial qualities. The feel of bamboo fibre has been compared to the softness of silk, with a smooth finish and incredible softness.
Combined with alpaca fleece, bamboo’s softness is amplified and creates an excellent lightweight quilt with cooling properties. Made to last, this quilt is incredibly smooth and silky but also moisture absorbent, keeping you dry and comfortable for a refreshing night’s sleep.
